The Council hereby decrees that a state of war exists between our fair nation and the kingdoms of Arysis and Khand. The Council is not pleased with the treatment of Nurad and the closeness of the Khan to the Shadow which is currently occupying an Amrun sanctioned Dwarven settlement. As such, the settlements to the north of of the Holy City of Al-Amrun are claimed by the Council, as well as all land extending to the mountains protecting Nurad. We ask that any inquiry for peace be done in a public forum.

All of the sudden you have a soft spot in your heart for Nurad. Where were your messages urging peace and  understanding in Khand's dealing with Nurad this past year? Khand received not one. Amrun has become a Numenorean dog and your attack on Khand's cities is nothing more than fulfilling their imperialistic aims. If you make an immediate peace offering and return all stolen property at once Khand will consider lenience.

"Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable, a most sacred right -- a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world. Nor is this right confined to cases in which the whole people of an existing government may choose to exercise it. Any portion of such people, that can, may revolutionize, and make their own of so much of the territory as they inhabit.' Abraham Lincoln, January 12, 1848 speech in Congress

"Don't say it's impossible! Turn your command over to the next officer. If he can't do it, I'll find someone who can, even if I have to take him from the ranks!" - General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson

We feel for any nation that has another attempting to put a yoke over it. This reaction is only natural. The Council's alliance with Khand and Arysis was bred from threats, and as such, the treaty signed was in no way legitimate. This is only a reaction to the betrayal of Amrun.

What is even more troubling to the Council are the Orc-Dens that have sprouted in your country. We do not take kindly to the idea of those monstrosities existing so close to our land, we do not take kindly to any Man willing to manipulate them to his ends. Be warned; we will burn them to the ground.
